2025: A Year of Strange Battles — MFM General Overseer, Olukoya.
The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Prof. Daniel Olukoya, has declared 2025 as a year of “strange battles” and urged Nigerians to embrace fervent prayers to overcome economic, spiritual, and personal challenges.
Speaking during the church’s annual crossover service, Olukoya described the year as one requiring vigilance, divine guidance, and spiritual preparation.
He called 2025 a year of power and undeniable victory for MFM members globally, citing Acts 1:8, but also warned of potential turbulence in various areas, including the economy, politics, and weather patterns.
Olukoya outlined prophetic insights for the year, emphasizing the need for prayer to combat strange infirmities, restore lost opportunities, and navigate extreme weather disturbances.
According to Olukoya, 2025 will witness the rise of transformative leaders, symbolized by modern-day Josephs, Esthers, and Daniels.
It will also be a year of “strange battles,” marked by conflicts between opposing forces—those without glory fighting those with glory, the oppre§§ed challenging the free, and the crooked targeting the upright.
He warned against spiritual laxity, highlighting that prayerlessness would be d+gerous during this period. The year will also expose and disgrace fake ministers, while immoral behavior, particularly among married men, will bring dire consequences.
Olukoya cautioned against engaging with “strange women,” whom he described as spiritual agents from the marine world. Despite the challenges, he assured believers of divine opportunities, including breakthroughs in marriage and fertility, restoration of lost blessings, and unlimited deliverance.
He also encouraged forgiveness, stating that it would yield significant rewards in 2025. Olukoya concluded by urging Nigerians to embrace righteousness, prayer, and resilience, trusting God for victory in what he described as a year of trials and triumphs.
