Police arrest Businesswoman for killing a barman over N200 in Adamawa State.
The Adamawa state police command has arrested an olo$ho, Riyanatu Musa for allegedly stabbing a barman to death over N200 liquor change in Mubi South LGA of the state.
The suspect attacked the deceased, Yohanna Musa, after they disagreed over a N200 balance the barman was supposed to collect from her.
Riyanatu Musa, confessing the crime to the police, narrated that she had collected dry gin known as ‘Big Ben’ and one other drink from Yohana Musa and promised to pay the following day, saying that she paid N1,500 remaining the balance of N200.
She explained that the fight ensued between her and the victim when he demanded for his money and in the course of it, she stabbed him with a knife in the chest.
She denied insinuation that she committed the crime under the influence of liquor, stressing that she did not take the drinks that fateful day.
