Activist who mishandled the Quran Shot in Sweden Ahead of Court Ruling.

Salwan Momika, who sparked international outrage in 2023 by repeatedly burning the Quran in Sweden, has been shot dead, according to a report by news agency AFP.

The shooting occurred in Södertälje, near Stockholm, and the victim was later identified as Momika by Swedish news agency SVT.

His d+ath comes as a Stockholm court was set to rule on whether he was guilty of inciting ethnic hatred due to his Quran-burning protests.

Following the incident, the court postponed its decision, stating that “one of the defendants has died.”
