Davido has refuted claims suggesting he was recently arrested in Kenya
Singer Davido has dismissed reports alleging his recent arrest in Kenya.
On April 1, widespread rumors circulated stating that the award-winning artist was apprehended and held at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.
The report, originating from Kenya’s media, claimed that the singer and seven members of his crew were detained after narcotics were discovered in the private jet they used to enter the country.
In a statement issued on April 2, Davido refuted the allegations, asserting their falsity. He clarified that he traveled to Uganda and Kenya for performances and has already returned to Nigeria. Additionally, he emphasized that he has never been arrested for any offense anywhere in the world. Davido mentioned that his legal team is taking action against those responsible for fabricating the story.
