Ebonyi Gov. Nwifuru orders arrest and prosecution of six over theft of medical equipment.

Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru has ordered the arrest and prosecution of Mr Ndukwe Ayansi and five others for allegedly diverting materials intended for the State’s Ministry of Health.

While on his way to inspect a project, Nwifuru spotted a Toyota Dyna truck loading registers, books, and other materials from the Ministry of Health’s warehouse.

Unsatisfied with the initial explanations, the governor investigated further and uncovered that patients’ data registers, cards, and other essential documents were being moved into the truck.

It was also discovered that all the documents have been sold without government approval.
