Nicolas Jackson warns John Obi Mikel to “shut his mouth” as the he hit back at his brutal assessment of him.

Jackson played an important role as Chelsea ran out 6-2 winners against Wolves on Sunday.

The 23-year-old’s performance comes a week after Blues hero Mikel criticised him following his display in the 2-0 loss to Manchester City, saying that he is not of the quality Chelsea need.

“You need a striker who knows how to hit a ball in the back of the net and that’s what we don’t have,” he said on Bein Sports. “I know I talk so much about him and sometimes I sound like I disrespect him. I don’t disrespect him. I think at Chelsea Football Club we need a top striker who can get us a goal.”

After his positive display against Wolves, Jackson took the opportunity to hit back at Mikel on social media. He tagged Mikel in an Instagram Story and wrote: “Shut your mouth, don’t talk sh*t, we ae killing ourself for Africa.”
