Paris 2024: Nigerian Favour Ofili finishes sixth in 200m Olympic final



Nigerian sprinter Favour Ofili on Tuesday night, August 6, finished sixth in the women’s 200m final of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Ofili, who made it to the final after finishing third overall with 22.05 seconds in the semifinal on Monday, ran 22.25 seconds in the final.

American Gabrielle Thomas ran 21.83sec to win ahead of St. Lucia’s new 100m champion Julien Alfred, who timed 22.08sec. Thomas’ teammate Brittany Brown claimed bronze in 22.20sec.
