You are reducing your blessings if you collect money from your pastors, sow into them instead — Pastor David Ibiyeomie.

David Ibiyeomie, the Pastor of Salvation Ministries, has cautioned against collecting money from senior pastors, stating that it is unscriptural and could hinder one’s prosperity.

In a viral video addressing his congregation, Ibiyeomie emphasized the importance of giving to senior pastors instead of receiving from them.

According to him, sowing into the lives of senior ministers attracts blessings and opens doors for greater prosperity. “May I tell you one raw truth? It may be hard, but never collect money from a senior man of God.

You are reducing your blessing,” he said. Citing his personal experience, Ibiyeomie stated that despite facing challenges, he has never sought financial assistance from his spiritual mentor, Bishop David Oyedepo.

“I’ll be the last person to collect a dime from Oyedepo, not because challenges have not come. That’s not how it works,” he explained.

He further urged his followers to embrace the principle of giving to senior pastors as a way of drawing virtue for advancement. “There are senior men to me today, and I can sow into their lives.

But I will not go and say, ‘Pastor Femi, can you please help me?’ It’s not scriptural. Don’t collect money from a senior man; you are reducing your prosperity. Sow into the senior man to draw virtue for the next level,” he added.
