Ibadan Stampede: Court Grants Bail to Ooni of Ife’s Ex-Wife Naomi, Oriyomi Hamzat, one other.

An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ring Road, Ibadan, has granted bail to Olori Naomi Silekunola, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, and Abdulahi Fasasi. The ruling was delivered on Monday by Justice K.B. Olawoyin of Court 8.

The bail was granted following an application submitted by their legal team. After hearing arguments on January 7, the court fixed Monday for its decision.

Justice Olawoyin outlined five conditions for the bail, including the payment of N10 million and the provision of two sureties who must present proof of ownership of landed property within the court’s jurisdiction.

Additionally, the accused are required to surrender their international passports to the court and are prohibited from granting any form of interviews during the trial.
