The renowned artist, who teased about her inaugural lead role as both an actor and Executive producer in 2023, took to her Instagram page to reveal that her much-anticipated film, “Water & Garri,” is set to premiere soon. She announced that “Water & Garri” will debut on Prime Video on May 10th.

In the film, Tiwa Savage takes on the lead role, portraying Aisha, an ambitious fashion designer who returns home to Africa after a decade in the U.S. The story, set in Cape Coast, Ghana, also features Mike Afolarin and Jemima Osunde, and explores themes of self-discovery, redemption, and confronting past mistakes.
