Retribution (2023) Movie Plot and Trailer

Follows a successful Wall Street executive who discovers on his way to work that a bomb has been planted in his car by an unknown assailant. He is forced to follow a series of orders throughout the day or else the bomb will be detonated.

Synopsis

A bank executive receives a bomb threat while driving his children to school that his car will explode if they stop and get out. A remake of the 2015 Spanish film “El Desconocido.”

Plot

Of course, Matt (Liam Neeson) had forgotten that he had to take the kids to school today. But the small argument with his wife Heather (Embeth Davidtz) quickly turns into a big nightmare. The investment banker is barely in the car with Emily (Lilly Aspell) and Zach (Jack Champion) when a stranger calls. The caller claims that there is a bomb hidden in Matt’s car. If even one passenger gets out, everyone will die. Matt is seized by panic. Who is the stranger? What does he want? Is the threat real? As Matt drives through a peaceful Berlin with his kids, his nerves become more and more frayed. Many millions are at stake – and a dirty secret…

Retribution Release Date: When is the film coming out?

Retribution is coming out as a Limited release in 2023 on Friday, August 25, 2023. There are 9 other movies coming out on the same date, including White Bird, The Dive and Bank of Dave.

As a Limited release, Retribution will only be shown in select movie theaters across major markets.
